Join me for a fun ceramic workshop focused on creating your own sculptural face cup using hand-building techniques!
We’ll start with a demonstration exploring different cup shapes and approaches to building a face, followed by hands-on instruction as you create your own piece. I’ll guide you through forming the cup, establishing facial features and proportions, and adding texture and detail.
We’ll also explore playful sculptural elements and handles that can become part of the face or extend from the form, giving you the freedom to develop a character that feels uniquely yours.
This workshop is a fun introduction to my approach to figurative handbuilding, with an emphasis on expression, experimentation, and letting the personality of the character develop as you build.
